Anklesaria CPA Professional Corporation was originally founded in 2003 by founder and current senior tax consultant Paul McVean, became Anklesaria McVean Professional Corporation, Chartered Professional Accountants in 2014 and in 2017, was reorganized in its current ownership as a registered public practice firm with the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario. We employ full-time and contract staff to ensure your needs are met.
We pride ourselves on being able to provide “big firm” services to our clientele without the “big firm” prices. Services include but are not limited to accounting, tax, bookkeeping, advising on structural issues (such as the use of holding companies and family trusts), reviewing issues such as the decision to incorporate, compensation planning, tax efficient investing, and assiting during major life events such as succession, sale or wind-up of a business.

SEAN ANKLESARIA, BAccS, CPA, CGA
Sean Anklesaria has been with the firm since 2012 in various capacities and is the current managing director at Anklesaria CPA Professional Corporation. Sean graduated with a Bachelor of Accounting Science degree from the University of Calgary and was admitted to membership as a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) in Ontario since 2006. In addition, Sean has completed an continues to attend various accounting and tax related courses which he uses to provide clients with professional service and care.
Throughout Sean’s career in public accounting, which began in 2001 at Deloitte & Touche LLP (one of the four largest accounting firms in the world), he has specialized in the audit, review and compilation of financial statements for owner-managed, privately-held organizations, small publicly traded organizations and not-for-profit organizations in a wide variety of industries across the Greater Toronto Area. He has also worked extensively in personal and corporate tax preparation and, as a result, has developed a keen understanding of the motivations and business drivers of privately held corporations and their shareholders.
PAUL McVEAN, BAccS, CPA, CGA, CFP, TEP
SENIOR TAX CONSULTANT
Paul is the senior tax consultant at Anklesaria CPA Professional Corporation. He works closely with many of our clients and their trusted advisors to provide tax compliance, as well as financial, tax and estate planning on an advice-only basis. Paul generally works with business owners and professionals, but also works with current and retired executives. Paul worked with Sean Anklesaria at Deloitte & Touche LLP, where he was involved in public accounting, tax planning and compliance. He also worked in wealth management at one of Canada’s largest independent wealth management firms as Vice President, Wealth Planning, followed by founding and being the Managing Director of Astute Strategies Inc., an advice-only financial planning firm where he provides complex financial, tax and estate planning solutions and expertise to and through financial advisors for their clients.
Paul holds a Bachelor of Accounting Science degree and has also earned the Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CGA), Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP) designations, and also is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA), a U.K. professional accounting designation. In addition, Paul has completed numerous tax specialty courses offered by the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada, including the In-Depth Tax Course, Income Tax Practice, and the Advanced Owner-Manager Tax Planning Course.
